'Israel's' president Herzog offers Ramadan wishes to Iranians and Gazans

• Isaac Herzog visits the Civil-Military Coordination Center in southern 'Israel', where he sent Ramadan greetings to Iranians, "Israeli Muslims", and Gazans.

Isaac Herzog on Monday extended Ramadan greetings to the people of Iran and to Muslims across the region, expressing hope for a shift in the Middle East away from violence and instability.

Speaking during a visit to the Civil-Military Coordination Center in southern 'Israel', which oversees the Gaza ceasefire, Herzog said he hoped “that this reign of terror will end and that we will see a different era in the Middle East, where all these proxies have gone away and [there is] a different future for the children of the Middle East.”

Herzog also addressed what he called "Israeli Muslims" and the residents of Gaza, marking the holy month.

“We wish them a month of peace, a month of recovery, and a month of hope for the people of this region and the people of Gaza,” he said.
