“You captured my heart”: Maduro card

One of the featured graphics showcased a widely circulated image of former Venezuelan leader Nicolás Maduro blindfolded and handcuffed during his transfer into U.S. custody after a major operation earlier this year.

Framed like a Valentine’s greeting, the message “You captured my heart” played on the double meaning of his capture and detention, highlighting a signature foreign policy moment from the administration.

A jab at Democratic immigration policies

Another card took aim at domestic political opponents, featuring imagery linked to debates over immigration enforcement. Inside a heart graphic, the caption read: “My love for you is as strong as Democrats’ love for illegal aliens, I’d fly 1,537 miles to have a drink with you!”, a playful swipe at ongoing partisan disputes over immigration policy and border enforcement.

“UR my Valentine”: executive order humour

A third card showed President Trump holding up a signed executive order, labeled “Executive Order 4547 … UR my Valentine,” merging Valentine’s Day language with the administration’s legislative and executive actions.

Greenland “situationship”

In a nod to past U.S. interest in Arctic geopolitics, another image featured a map of Greenland inside a heart with the caption “It’s time we define our situationship,” referencing diplomatic tensions and discussions around the territory.

“To: my ex” card

One card read “To: my ex” and featured a Mexican hat, a visual widely interpreted online as a nod to U.S.–Mexico relations.

Rubio and Vance

Another card featured Secretary of State Marco Rubio alongside Vice President JD Vance with the caption “Don’t make me work for your love.”
