  • 'Israeli' soldier Lider Peretz dies in accident.
  • Death initially misreported as happening during training.

'Israeli' soldier Lidar Peretz, a logistics officer in the 7th Armored Brigade, was killed and another soldier lightly injured in an accident at the Tze’elim base on Thursday.

Reports indicate a heavy container fell on Peretz, causing her death. She was posthumously promoted from lieutenant to captain following the incident.
