The newly released tranche of documents linked to the Epstein Files Transparency Act includes emails that allege the former President of the United States Joe Biden was killed in 2019 and replaced with a clone.

The documents, which form part of a massive data release from unclassified Department of Justice records, include angry correspondence by someone named “Charles” and stamped with internal filing codes ranging from EFTA00173266 to EFTA00173273. The emails appear among third‑party communications collected during broader federal inquiries connected to Jeffrey Epstein’s network.

Unlike other Epstein‑related disclosures that have focused on documented relationships with political and business figures, these files contain extreme and conspiratorial assertions.

Emails allege clone theory

The “Charles” emails were forwarded to an FBI agent in April 2021 by a redacted sender, who claimed to be relaying messages from a disgruntled former employee or associate of a technology firm. The texts contain profane language and reference alleged “quantum” technologies, secret military tribunals, and claims that “Biden is not your current President.”

One paragraph asserts that the “real” Joe Biden was executed in 2019 and replaced by an actor or clone, suggesting supposed “mask malfunctions” as proof. No physical evidence, medical records, or corroborating testimony accompany the allegations.

The “Biden clone” claim is a well‑known trope of online conspiracy culture. The theory typically holds that the “real” Joe Biden was secretly removed from the public stage, most often in 2019 or 2020, and replaced by lookalikes, masked actors, or even supposed clones.

Adherents frequently dissect low‑quality videos and photographs, pointing to changes in appearance such as lighting, aging, or camera distortion as supposed proof of an elaborate cover‑up.

To date, there is no verified evidence that President Joe Biden was ever harmed or replaced, and the claims remain purely a conspiracy theory.
