Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said Friday that there are “signs” that ‘Israel’ is still planning to launch an attack on Iran.

Fidan said that “this move could further destabilize the region”.

Regarding the situation in Iran, Fidan said the nationwide protests are caused by economic reasons and that it is “wrong to think they seek to oppose or topple” the current Iranian leadership.

Earlier today, Dutch national carrier KLM has “unexpectedly” announced the suspension of two night flights to Tel Aviv without providing a reason.

According to a report by Hebrew Channel 12, the airline has also extended these cancellations to include routes serving Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.

While the airline initially cited unclear reasons for the immediate suspension of tonight’s flights, Hebrew Channel 12 reports that the broader decision to halt service to major Gulf hubs is a direct result of "tensions in the region,” as the threat of a US strike on Iran looms.

France’s flag carrier Air France has also cancelled its flights to ‘Israel’, Channel 12 also reported.
