  • 'Israeli' forces launch airstrikes on multiple Hezbollah positions in southern Lebanon.
  • Strikes hit rocket sites, weapon storage, and training centers, continuing violations of ceasefire.

The 'Israeli' army reported targeting Hezbollah positions across southern Lebanon on Monday, striking multiple locations in Nabatieh Governorate.

The attacks hit rocket launch sites, arms storage facilities, and training centers, citing "unusual military activity" at the locations in recent months, according to 'Israeli' statements.

'Israeli' Channel 12 reported that the air force struck 14 Hezbollah targets in the region, while Al Jazeera correspondents confirmed that raids hit Wadi Barghaz, Qalaat Meis near Zrarieh, the Litani River, Mahmoudiyeh, Kafrmelki, and Naba’a Al-Tasa.

The Lebanese News Agency added that strikes targeted the Litani River near Sarira and Barghaz, with heavy missiles causing loud explosions across the area. Additional strikes reportedly hit Shata River near Loueizeh, Baslia near Jbaa, and Wadi Kafrmelki in Sidon District. Aircraft were observed flying at low altitudes over Western Beqaa and Rachaya in eastern Lebanon.

The attacks form part of ongoing 'Israeli' violations of the ceasefire with Hezbollah, in effect since November 2024. Previous conflicts have left hundreds dead or wounded, and 'Israeli' forces continue to occupy five Lebanese hills captured during the last war, alongside other long-held territories.

Since October 2023, 'Israeli' aggression against Lebanon has killed over four thousand people and injured around 17 thousand, before escalating into full-scale war in September 2024, which only paused after a ceasefire agreement.
