Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian warned Sunday that any attack against the Islamic Republic’s supreme leader Ali Khamenei would lead to “all out war”
“Any aggression against the Supreme Leader of our country is tantamount to all-out war against the Iranian nation,” Pezeshkian said on X.
The Iranian president blamed the United States for the “hardship” and “difficulties” Iranians are facing, citing what the called “inhumane” sanctions imposed by the US government.
The statement looks to be a response to US President Donald Trump, who told Politico yesterday that it was time to look for new leadership in Iran.
