'Israeli' actress and singer Daniella Pick offered a candid look into her home life with director Quentin Tarantino during a televised interview Saturday night, discussing their decision to stay in Tel Aviv during the Gaza genocide and the director’s affection for their life in 'Israel'.

Pick told 'Israel's' Channel 12 news that Tarantino never considered leaving when rockets struck Tel Aviv.

“Absolutely not,” she told interviewer Danny Hecht. She described how calm he remained during attacks. “Most of the time, he wouldn't even go down to the shelter if I didn't tell him... He isn't afraid.” She added that he once joked, “‘Well, whatever. Like if something happens, I'll die as a Zionist.’”

The couple, who have lived in north Tel Aviv for years with their two children, stayed without hesitation. “It was during the war that Tarantino said, ‘We'll be here.’ It was clear,” Pick said.

Tarantino, who has been learning Hebrew, spoke in the feature about how much he enjoys their daily routine. “I love it [in Israel]. If I didn't love it, I wouldn't be there,” he said, describing days spent cycling, meeting friends, and being with his children. Pick praised him as “an amazing father” and a supportive partner.

The two met in 2009 while Tarantino was promoting Inglourious Bastards. They married seven years ago after what Pick described as an immediate connection.

Pick stated that she will appear in a film about 'Israel's' deadly pager operation in Lebanon and revealed that she and Tarantino are developing a series together, though she withheld details.
