  • ‘Israeli’ authorities claimed the exposure and dismantling of a Hamas network operating across Europe, dubbed the "Hamas Octopus."
  • The operation by the Mossad allegedly resulted in the thwarting of multiple planned attacks on ‘Israeli’ and Jewish sites

‘Israeli’ authorities claimed on Wednesday the exposure and dismantling of what it says is a Hamas “terror network” operating throughout Europe.

The operation, led by the Mossad in collaboration with European intelligence and law enforcement agencies, allegedly thwarted multiple planned attacks through coordinated raids and arrests.

The network was dubbed the "Hamas Octopus" by ‘Israeli’ officials, involved sleeper cells and infrastructure built to execute operations on command, according to ‘Israeli’ claims.

The Mossad said in its statement that investigations revealed a web of operatives recruiting and stockpiling weapons for attacks on civilians

Key countries include Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom, with Turkey serving as a central hub for planning and coordination.

Austrian security forces reportedly uncovered a significant weapons cache in Vienna in September, containing pistols, explosive devices, and ammunition.

The dismantled infrastructure included not only arms but also fundraising and recruitment channels disguised as charities and religious institutions, according to the Mossad claims.
