'Israel' has handed over the remains of 30 additional Palestinians to Gaza as part of an ongoing exchange deal linked to a US-mediated ceasefire, hospital officials confirmed on Friday.
The Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis reported to Agence France-Presse (AFP) that “the bodies of 30 Palestinian prisoners were received from the Israeli side as part of the exchange deal.”
Under the terms of the ceasefire, 'Israel' is expected to return 15 Palestinian remains for each deceased 'Israeli' captive repatriated by Hamas. With Friday’s transfer, the total number of Palestinian bodies returned to Gaza has reached 225.
