VIDEO: Jordan evacuates 15th group of sick children from Gaza for treatment
The Jordanian Armed Forces on Thursday evacuated the fifteenth group of sick children from the Gaza Strip as part of the “Jordanian Medical Corridor” initiative, aimed at supporting Palestinians and alleviating their humanitarian suffering.
This latest group included 20 patients and 56 companions, who will receive treatment in Jordanian hospitals in coordination with the Ministry of Health and the World Health Organization (WHO). The initiative provides ongoing medical and humanitarian support to those affected in the besieged enclave.
Since the launch of the Medical Corridor initiative by His Majesty King Abdullah II in March, Jordan has received a total of 987 people from Gaza, including 286 patients and 701 companions, transported by land and air for necessary medical care.
