'Israel' army says Red Cross on its way to receive body of Gaza captive

The 'Israeli' military said Monday that the Red Cross was en route to receive the body of a deceased captive held by militants in Gaza, the 16th since a ceasefire began.

"The Red Cross is on its way to the meeting point in the northern Gaza Strip, where a coffin of a deceased captive will be transferred into its custody," the military said in a statement.

Hamas has so far returned the remains of 15 of the 28 deceased captives since a US-brokered ceasefire took effect on October 10.
