The Gaza Ministry of Health announced Saturday that 19 people were killed and seven others injured over the past 48 hours, despite the ongoing cease-fire agreement.

The total cumulative death toll from the ‘Israeli’ assault since Oct. 7, 2023, has risen to 68,519 killed and 170,382 injured.

Continued Violations and Body Recovery

The Health Ministry confirmed that ‘Israeli’ forces continue to violate the cease-fire agreement, which began on Oct. 11. Of the 19 fatalities reported over the last two days, the ministry clarified that four resulted from direct targeting by ‘Israeli’ forces, while the bodies of 15 others were recovered from beneath the rubble of destroyed buildings.

The total number of deaths since the truce came into effect has reached 93, in addition to 324 injured.

Ongoing extensive efforts are focused on recovering the bodies of hundreds of victims who remain trapped under the debris of destroyed homes; a total of 464 bodies have been recovered since the cease-fire began.

Total Casualties and Identification Efforts Updated

The Health Ministry's statement noted that 220 fatalities were added to the overall cumulative count after their data was completed and approved during the past week.

Regarding the 195 bodies recently released by ‘Israeli’ authorities, the ministry stated that the identities of only 64 bodies have been confirmed so far.
