Hamas to return remains of up to six 'Israeli' captives tonight

A senior Hamas official has confirmed to Agence France-Presse (AFP) that the group plans to return the bodies of four to six captives later Tuesday evening under the terms of the Gaza ceasefire agreement with 'Israel'.

“We informed the mediators that we will hand over four to six bodies of Israeli prisoners tonight,” the official said, speaking on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to discuss the matter.

The move was corroborated by another source close to Hamas’ negotiating team, who confirmed the planned transfer of the remains.
