VIDEO: Ecuador’s President Daniel Noboa survives shooting at his motorcade

Ecuadorian President Daniel Noboa survived gunfire targeting his motorcade on Tuesday, according to a government minister, after hundreds of protesters opposing rising diesel fuel prices tried to approach the convoy.

Environment Minister Inés Manzano said, “Around 500 people appeared and began throwing stones at the president’s motorcade, and there are bullet marks on the president’s car.” She added, “Thank God, our president is very strong and courageous, and he continues to move forward and follow his schedule as usual.”
