South Africa's ambassador to France found dead in Paris

South Africa’s ambassador to France, Nkosinathi Emmanuel Mthethwa, was found dead Tuesday in Porte Maillot, a district in western Paris, according to Le Parisien.

Mthethwa reportedly jumped from the 22nd floor of the Hyatt Hotel; the circumstances are still under investigation.

Authorities have not provided details about the circumstances of the death. 

Investigations into the incident are expected to follow, though no official statement has yet been released.
