'Israeli' Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu expressed sorrow on Monday following an 'Israeli' airstrike on Gaza’s Nasser Hospital that resulted in the killing of 20 people, including five journalists.

"Israel deeply regrets the tragic mishap that occurred today at the Nasser Hospital in Gaza," Netanyahu said in a statement released by his office. "Israel values the work of journalists, medical staff, and all civilians."

Among those killed were journalists working for Reuters, the Associated Press, and Al Jazeera, the three news agencies confirmed. The attack has drawn international condemnation and renewed calls for the protection of civilians and media personnel in conflict zones.
