US President Donald Trump voiced strong concern on Monday over a series of 'Israeli' airstrikes on Gaza’s Nasser Medical Complex, which killed 20 people, including five journalists and a firefighter.

"I'm not happy about it. I don't want to see it," Trump said during a press briefing in the Oval Office. "At the same time, we have to end that all nightmare. I'm the one that got the hostages out."

The Gaza Health Ministry reported that the attack struck the fourth floor of one of the hospital buildings with two airstrikes, the second hitting as rescue teams arrived to aid the wounded and recover the deceased. Victims included patients, medical staff, civil defense personnel, and press teams. Several others were injured.

Among the journalists killed were Hussam al-Masri, a cameraman for Official Palestine TV; Mohammad Salama of Al Jazeera; photojournalist Mariam Abu Dagga; and Moaz Abu Taha. Ahmed Abu Aziz, a freelance reporter working for Tunisian and Moroccan news outlets, also succumbed to injuries sustained in the strike.

Trump added that he believes “a little bit less than 20” captives held in Gaza remain alive, while noting “one or two are gone.” He warned of the grim situation, saying, “When we get down to that final 10 or 20, these people aren't going to release them, because they're dead after they release them. So, it's a nasty situation, very nasty, horrible thing.”

It is unclear what sources informed Trump’s assessment. 'Israel' has previously stated that approximately 50 captives remain in Gaza, with around 20 believed to be alive.
