Oscar-winning Javier Bardem calls 'Israeli' military "Nazis"
Oscar-winning Spanish actor Javier Bardem has sparked controversy with sharp criticism of the 'Israeli' military’s actions against Palestinians.
Bardem shared a video that he said showed an 'Israeli' soldier killing a Palestinian child for fun, later circulating the footage online and calling it “legendary content.” In his caption, Bardem compared the act to scenes from Schindler’s List, invoking the image of Nazi officer Amon Göth.
“The IDF are Nazis. Do you remember Amon Göth in Schindler’s List? A sadistic SS officer who shot prisoners from his balcony purely for entertainment. He embodied the banality of evil and the impunity of cruelty within an oppressive military apparatus. Today, that same logic of terror and dehumanization is what the IDF applies against the Palestinian people,” Bardem wrote.
The comments come amid ongoing international debate over 'Israel’s' aggression in Gaza, which has left over 61,000 people killed and faced mounting criticism from global leaders, rights groups, and public figures.
