'Israel' launches initial phases of its ground offensive in Gaza City
The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) have initiated the first phase of a new military ground operation, with forces reportedly moving into Gaza City, an army spokesperson announced Wednesday evening.
The spokesperson confirmed that the second phase of the broader mission, codenamed Gideon's Chariots, has commenced following direct orders from 'Israel's' political leadership.
In a surprising development, reports from within 'Israel' suggest there is unease about the ground invasion strategy. The Israeli Broadcasting Authority (IBA) reported on Wednesday that soldiers within the elite Givati Brigade had appealed to their commanders to avoid a daytime incursion into the Gaza Strip. The soldiers reportedly raised concerns about entering in broad daylight and using what they described as "unprotected vehicles."
