Netanyahu holds consultations after Hamas delivers ceasefire response

Israeli Occupation Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has held a round of urgent security and political consultations following Hamas’ reply to proposals for a prisoner exchange and ceasefire in Gaza, according to reports by Yedioth Ahronoth.

Sources close to Netanyahu told the newspaper that he is leaning toward a broad agreement that would both bring an end to the ongoing war and ensure the return of all 'Israeli' captives held in Gaza.

At the same time, they noted that Netanyahu is not ready to accept a limited or partial arrangement, though he has not entirely dismissed the possibility.
