'Israeli' airstrikes hit southern Lebanon’s Nabatieh region
Lebanon’s National News Agency reported on Friday that a series of 'Israeli' airstrikes targeted the Nabatieh region in southern Lebanon.
According to the agency, 'Israeli' warplanes conducted heavy aerial raids on the Ali Al-Taher forests located at the northern edges of Kfartbniyit and Upper Nabatieh.
The attacks involved multiple air-to-ground missiles, producing loud explosions that echoed across several southern areas and generated thick clouds of smoke.
An 'Israeli' army spokesperson claimed in a statement that the airstrikes targeted both above-ground and underground military infrastructure at a Hezbollah site, allegedly where military activity had been observed in the Talat Al-Shaqif area in southern Lebanon.
No casualties have been reported from the attacks so far.
