Earlier, the ‘Israeli’ Public Broadcasting Corporation cited sources saying that Netanyahu has already decided to expand the offensive to cover all areas of Gaza, including those where captives may be located.
Netanyahu used the term “occupation of the Strip” in private conversations with the ministers, while outlining his vision for expanding military operations in Gaza.
The decision reportedly comes despite opposition from the military chief of staff, and was made after Netanyahu received a green light from US President Donald Trump.
