More suicides: Another “Israeli” soldier found dead in his home

Another “Israeli” soldier committed suicide on Sunday, Haaretz reported yesterday, bringing the number of suicides this month among the “Israeli” military to six.

Master Sgt. Ariel Meir Taman served in the “Israeli” military Rabbinate division, and was found dead in his home in southern “Israel”.

His duties included identifying bodies after the events of Oct. 7, which reportedly triggered his case of mental unwellness.

The “Israeli” military police said it opened an investigation into the circumstances of his death.

An acquaintance of the soldier told Hebrew media that he “saw very difficult things in his position in recent years.”

The “Israeli” army saw a rise in suicides this year, with 17 cases recorded so far in 2025, compared to 21 for the entirety of 2024 and 17 in 2023.
