'Israel' extends military presence in Tulkarm camps, West Bank, through Oct
The Israeli Occupation has issued a decision to extend the presence of its forces in the Tulkarm refugee camps in the West Bank until October 31, 2025, contradicting earlier reports that suggested a potential withdrawal at the start of next month.
The decision includes the renewed occupation of both Nur Shams and Tulkarm camps, as well as a new ban on Palestinian presence in the Nur Shams woodlands, an area outside the camp boundaries.
As a result, nearly 30,000 displaced residents of the two camps will continue to suffer from harsh and deteriorating conditions for at least three more months.
The move signals the continuation of the "Israeli" military’s offensive on the area, despite growing humanitarian concerns and repeated calls for de-escalation.
