VIDEO - Nasser Salah al-Deen Brigades ambush 'Israeli' forces in Khan Younis
The Al-Nasser Salah al-Deen Brigades, the military wing of the Popular Resistance Committees - a coalition of different Palestinian armed factions active in the Gaza Strip - announced on Monday that its fighters shelled 'Israeli' soldiers and military vehicles stationed on Street 5, north of Khan Younis, using mortar fire.
The group released a video showing parts of the operation. In the footage, a fighter is heard reciting a Quranic verse: “Thou didst not throw when thou threwest, but God threw” before declaring, “Al-Nasser Salah al-Deen Brigades are targeting enemy positions in northern Khan Younis in response to the massacres committed by the occupation forces against our steadfast people. This is jihad, victory or martyrdom.”
As of Monday evening, 894 'Israeli' soldiers have been killed and 6,109 wounded since the beginning of the war on Gaza, according to the 'Israeli' military, which faces domestic accusations of concealing heavier losses.
