Death toll in Gaza reaches 58,765
Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced Friday that the death toll from the ongoing 'Israeli' aggression on the Gaza Strip has risen to 58,765, with 140,485 wounded since October 7, 2023.
The Ministry’s latest statistical report revealed that hospitals in Gaza received 98 bodies over the past 48 hours, including three recovered from under the rubble, and 511 injuries.
Emergency and civil defense teams remain unable to reach many victims trapped beneath debris or stranded in the streets due to the intensity of the bombardment and ongoing fighting.
The Ministry added that from March 18, 2025, until today, the toll has reached 7,938 deaths and 28,444 injuries, underscoring the scale and intensity of the recent escalation over the past four months.
Killed while seeking aid
Highlighting continued attacks on civilians seeking to survive, the Health Ministry revealed that 14 Palestinians were killed and over 94 wounded in the past two days while trying to obtain humanitarian aid.
This raises the total number of what has become known as the "death traps martyrs" to 891 killed and 5,754 injured since the start of the war.
