The 'Israeli' army announced on Wednesday that its air defense systems were responding to a missile launched from Yemen toward 'Israeli' territory.
According to the military, the projectile was detected and efforts were underway to intercept it. The Home Front Command reported that sirens sounded in the Dead Sea area following the launch.
'Israeli' Channel 12 reported that air traffic at Ben Gurion International Airport was temporarily suspended as a precaution.
No immediate reports of damage or casualties were issued.
