Intense 'Israeli' bombardment rocks northern Gaza

Northern Gaza came under heavy 'Israeli' bombardment early Saturday, with 'Israeli' media reporting that the sound of explosions from the airstrikes shook towns and settlements surrounding the besieged enclave.

According to Al Jazeera, 'Israeli' warplanes launched approximately 30 airstrikes on the town of Beit Hanoun, located in the northeastern corner of the Gaza Strip.

Journalists described the bombardment as “intense,” with Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) reportedly employing what are known as “fire belts,” a tactic involving sustained shelling over a wide area to isolate or destroy entire zones.
