05-07-2025 20:45|'Israeli' media reported Saturday evening that a decision has been made to send a delegation to Qatar to hold negotiations with Hamas on a potential captive and ceasefire agreement.
Citing senior 'Israeli' officials, the reports said the upcoming round of talks in Doha is intended to bridge remaining gaps between the two sides and finalize the terms of the long-awaited deal.
The 'Israeli' negotiating team, tasked with securing the release of captives held in Gaza, is expected to engage in “close talks” with mediators in an effort to break the current deadlock.
Meanwhile, 'Israel’s' public broadcaster Kan reported that the security cabinet is scheduled to meet later Saturday to discuss Hamas’s latest response to the proposed framework.
