“We will make the Middle East Great Again,” says Netanyahu thanking Trump
“Israeli” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu responded today to US President Donald Trump’s calls of exonerating him, as the pair eye a Gaza ceasefire and prisoner exchange deal.
“Thank you again, @realDonaldTrump,” Netanyahu said on X.
“Together, we make will make the Middle East Great Again!” he added, in a post that notably included a grammatical mistake.
Thank you again, @realDonaldTrump.

Netanyahu was quoting a post by Trump on Truth Social, in which he sharply criticized the ongoing trial of Netanyahu, calling it a “political witch hunt” and warning that it could jeopardize sensitive negotiations with Hamas and Iran.
Trump described Netanyahu as a “war hero” and praised his past cooperation with the US in countering the Iranian nuclear threat. He also noted that Netanyahu is currently working on a deal with Hamas aimed at securing the release of captives.
“How is it possible that the Prime Minister of Israel can be forced to sit in a courtroom all day long, over NOTHING (Cigars, Bugs Bunny Doll, etc.)” Trump wrote. “This travesty of ‘justice’ will interfere with both Iran and Hamas negotiations.”
Drawing parallels to his own legal battles, Trump called the case against Netanyahu “insanity” and claimed it was driven by “out-of-control prosecutors.” He also pointed to the substantial financial and military support the United States provides 'Israel', saying, “We are not going to stand for this.”
Trump concluded with a call to end the trial, writing, “LET BIBI GO, HE’S GOT A BIG JOB TO DO!”
In a later post by Trump on Truth Social, he also wrote: “MAKE THE DEAL IN GAZA. GET THE HOSTAGES BACK!!!”
