14 hours ago|'Israeli' Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz issued a joint statement rejecting what they described as the “falsehood” published by the Haaretz newspaper regarding 'Israeli' soldiers allegedly firing at unarmed civilians at aid distribution centers in Gaza.
The statement condemned the Haaretz report as “abhorrent” and an attempt to “damage the reputation of the army, which is considered one of the most ethically committed militaries in the world,” according to the joint declaration.
Netanyahu and Katz added that the 'Israeli' military operates under “complex and difficult conditions” and faces an enemy that “uses civilians as human shields,” as quoted in the statement.
