LIVE UPDATES | Washington joins “Israel” in Iran strikes after attacks on nuclear sites
“Israel” and Iran continue exchanging fire in aerial attacks since Friday, June 13, in a massive escalation that evolved into a direct confrontation between the longtime enemies after years of shadow wars.
President Donald Trump said Sunday the US military has carried out a "very successful attack" on three Iranian nuclear sites, including the crucial underground uranium enrichment facility at Fordo.
Trump said a "full payload of BOMBS" was dropped on Fordo, in a surprise announcement that came just two days after he had apparently opened a two-week window for diplomacy.
"We have completed our very successful attack on the three Nuclear sites in Iran, including Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan," Trump said in a post on his Truth Social platform.
"A full payload of BOMBS was dropped on the primary site, Fordow."
Trump added that "all planes are safely on their way home. Congratulations to our great American Warriors."
In a second post announcing his address to the nation from the White House, Trump said that "IRAN MUST NOW AGREE TO END THIS WAR."
He also described it as a "historic" moment for the United States, “Israel” and the world.
Trump's shock announcement came just two days after he said he would decide "within two weeks" whether to join key ally “Israel” in attacking Iran.

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced it launched a powerful missile strike on the US Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar, calling it a retaliatory response to the recent American attacks on Iran’s nuclear facilities.
In an official statement on Monday, the IRGC said the strike was part of Operation Bashair al-Fath, coordinated with Iran’s Supreme National Security Council and executed under the command of the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters. The Al Udeid base, the largest US military installation in West Asia, was described by the IRGC as a “strategic stronghold of the American terrorist army.”
The IRGC emphasized that the missile strike sent a clear message to the White House and its allies, warning that “no aggression against Iran’s sovereignty and national security will go unanswered.”
The statement also linked the United States to 'Israel', calling the Zionist state “an extension of American schemes,” and warned that US military bases in the region are “vulnerable pressure points,” not sources of strength.
On the eve of the Islamic month of Muharram, the IRGC warned adversaries that the era of unchecked confrontation has ended, declaring that any further aggression would hasten the collapse of US military presence in the region and serve the broader goal of confronting what it called “the cancerous tumor of Zionism.”

Hezbollah issues statement condemning US strikes on Iran’s nuclear sites
Hezbollah issued a statement Sunday strongly condemning the US military strikes on three nuclear sites in Iran, calling the attack a “reckless and barbaric act of aggression.”
“Hezbollah strongly condemns the treacherous and savage American aggression on Iran’s peaceful nuclear facilities,” the group said, adding that the strike reveals the “true face of the United States as the greatest threat to regional and global security.”
The group described the attack as a blatant violation of international law, the Geneva Conventions, and the UN Charter, warning that the strikes mark a dangerous and uncalculated escalation that could plunge the region and the world into chaos if not stopped.
Hezbollah singled out US President Donald Trump, accusing him of acting with arrogance and delusion in targeting a sovereign country’s nuclear sites, which are under the supervision of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
“The US and the global tyrants behind it seek to force free and independent states into submission, presenting them with two options: humiliation or destruction,” the statement read.
Hezbollah claimed the US attack was meant to achieve what “the Zionist entity” had failed to do in its own strikes on Iran and framed the action as proof of full American-Israeli coordination in waging wars across the region—from Iran and Gaza to Lebanon, Syria, and Yemen.
The group reiterated its solidarity with the Islamic Republic of Iran, praising its leadership, people, and armed forces, and asserting Iran’s right to respond to the aggression.
“This criminal assault will only strengthen Iran’s resolve to confront aggression and achieve victory,” Hezbollah declared.
The group also called on Arab and Muslim countries, as well as the international community and organizations like the United Nations and the IAEA, to condemn the strikes and hold the United States accountable for what it warned could have led to a nuclear disaster affecting wide regions and thousands of lives.

Some Iranians living near key nuclear sites struck by the United States on Sunday said they were unaware of the attack until morning, claimed a report published by CNN.
CNN reported that residents of Qom, located about 30 kilometers from the Fordow nuclear facility, said they slept through the strikes and only realized what had occurred after noticing sirens and an increased presence of Basij militia forces on the streets.
The US struck the Fordow Fuel Enrichment Plant shortly after 2 AM local time. CNN noted that cities like Qom lack an aerial attack warning system, which may have contributed to the residents’ lack of awareness during the attack.
Qom is considered a holy city and is home to Iran’s largest Shia seminary. Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and several former presidents studied there.
CNN also cited residents of a village near the Natanz nuclear facility who similarly reported hearing nothing overnight, despite the facility being one of the sites targeted in the strikes.

US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth held a high-stakes Pentagon briefing Sunday following coordinated airstrikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities, declaring the mission an “incredible and overwhelming success” aimed at severely degrading Tehran’s nuclear program.
Hegseth emphasized that the operation targeted only nuclear infrastructure and did not harm Iranian troops or civilians.
“Iran’s nuclear ambitions have been obliterated,” he said. “Many presidents dreamed of delivering the final blow to Iran’s nuclear program. None succeeded—until President Trump.”
He described the strike as a pivotal moment in preventing Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons and urged Iran to choose peace.
“When this president speaks, the world should listen. He seeks peace, not conflict. Iran should take that path.”
Following the briefing, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Dan Caine provided additional operational details. The strike, codenamed Operation Midnight Hammer, involved more than 125 aircraft, including seven stealth B-2 bombers, refueling tankers, reconnaissance planes, fighter jets, and dozens of Tomahawk missiles.
The B-2 bombers launched from a base in Missouri conducted the longest mission of their kind since the September 11 attacks. They dropped multiple 30,000-pound Massive Ordnance Penetrator bombs on the Fordow and Natanz nuclear facilities, while Tomahawk missiles targeted Isfahan.
To maintain tactical surprise, a deception operation deployed some bombers westward over the Pacific as a decoy, known only to a select group of planners.
The entire strike package entered Iranian airspace around 6:40 PM ET and exited within 20 minutes.
The strikes have been met with strong condemnation from Tehran and have heightened fears of further regional escalation.

The aircraft are capable of carrying the GBU-57 Massive Ordnance Penetrator, a bunker-busting bomb believed to be the only conventional weapon that could threaten Iran’s heavily fortified Fordow nuclear facility.
According to a report by Fox News, the bombers departed from Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri, accompanied by at least four aerial refueling tankers. Flight tracking data and air traffic control communications indicated that the bombers likely refueled shortly after takeoff, suggesting they may have launched with a heavy payload that could include bunker-buster munitions.
Fordow, located near the city of Qom and buried 80–90 meters beneath a mountain, has long been regarded as one of Iran’s most secure nuclear sites. Experts have debated whether even the GBU-57—designed to penetrate reinforced underground bunkers—could fully destroy the site, though multiple strikes may be capable of collapsing surrounding infrastructure.
“Destroying Fordow from the air is a job only the U.S. can do,” Fox News Digital quoted Mark Dubowitz, CEO of the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, as saying. Jonathan Ruhe of the Jewish Institute for National Security of America (JINSA) explained that the GBU-57 relies on gravity and kinetic energy to burrow through layers of rock and concrete before detonation, potentially collapsing or disabling key infrastructure underground.
The 'Israeli' daily Haaretz reported that Fordow is already among the designated targets in Israel’s military planning. A senior Israeli military source told the outlet: “If we are given the order to strike, we will act.”
While the bombers are currently en route to Guam, Haaretz noted they may continue on to Diego Garcia, a U.S. base in the Indian Ocean that lies just over 3,500 kilometers from Iran, though this has not been confirmed.
The deployment follows an intense week of conflict. On June 13, 'Israel' launched over 1,000 airstrikes across Iran, targeting missile infrastructure, military facilities, and nuclear sites. Tehran responded with missile attacks, escalating fears of a wider regional war.
The Iranian Health Ministry reported that at least 430 people have been killed and over 3,500 wounded in the 'Israeli' assault. In contrast, Israeli authorities say at least 25 people have been killed and hundreds injured in Iran’s retaliatory strikes.
Iran has issued a warning to the United States, stating that direct involvement in 'Israeli'-led operations would trigger a regional response. Tehran also said it would not return to stalled nuclear talks “under fire.”
If US joins 'Israeli' attack on Iran, we will target their ships in Red Sea, warn Houthis
Houthi military spokesperson Yahya Saree today issued a strong statement reiterating the group’s principled and steadfast rejection of 'Zionist aggression' against their Arab and Islamic brothers in Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, and any other Arab or Islamic country subjected to 'Israeli' attacks, as reflected in previous declarations.
The statement described the ongoing battle against the 'Israeli' enemy, particularly its recent aggression targeting Iran, as part of a broader pattern of crimes committed against the Palestinian people, including mass killings and continuous attacks on the Lebanese and Syrian peoples, as well as Yemen itself.
The recent escalation against the Islamic Republic of Iran under the guise of “changing the face of the Middle East” was described as an attempt by Israel, backed by open American support and partnership, to gain full control over the region. Israel enemy sees Iran as the largest obstacle to the realization of its plan.
Accordingly, the statement warned that any American aggression supporting 'Israel' against Iran as part of this goal to enable 'Israeli' dominance over the entire region will not be tolerated.
Such actions would mean the confiscation of the freedom, independence, dignity, and identity of Arab and Islamic nations, their enslavement, humiliation, occupation of their lands, theft of their resources, and the establishment of a dangerous precedent for the desecration of lives, honor, land, and holy sites.
Yahya Saree affirmed that this battle is a collective one for the entire nation. Salvation, pride, and victory lie in action and jihad in the way of God, citing Quranic verses emphasizing fighting in God’s cause and divine support for believers who stand firm.
The statement further declared that in the event of any American involvement in attacks on Iran alongside 'Israel', Yemeni forces will target American ships and warships in the Red Sea.
The Houthis are closely monitoring all hostile movements in the region, including those against Yemen itself, and will take all necessary and legitimate measures to defend the country and its proud people.
Finally, Yahya Saree affirmed the group’s unwavering solidarity with any Arab or Islamic country facing Zionist aggression or deciding to confront such aggression in self-defense or in support of the Palestinian resistance fighters. They vowed never to abandon their brothers in Gaza and will not allow this criminal, US-backed entity to realize its plans in the region.
Iranian official calls European nuclear proposals 'unrealistic': Reuters
A senior Iranian official has described recent proposals put forward by European powers during nuclear talks in Geneva as "unrealistic," warning that such positions will not help bridge the gap between Tehran and Western negotiators. The remarks were reported in an exclusive by Reuters on Saturday.
“The discussions and proposals made by the European powers to Iran over its nuclear programme in Geneva were unrealistic,” the official said. “Insisting on them will not bring both sides closer to an agreement.”
Despite the criticism, the official confirmed that Iran would review the proposals in Tehran and provide a formal response at the next scheduled meeting.
The comments come amid a renewed diplomatic push to revive stalled negotiations over Iran’s nuclear activities, with European countries reportedly seeking stricter oversight and clearer commitments from Tehran.

Iran accuses nuclear watchdog chief of bias in formal complaint to UN
Iran’s Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the UN, Amir-Saeid Iravani, has submitted an official letter of protest to the UN Security Council and Secretary-General António Guterres, accusing the head of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Rafael Grossi, of failing to uphold his duties with neutrality and professionalism.
The letter, delivered in New York on Friday, centers on what Iran views as Grossi’s inaction and biased conduct surrounding Israel’s recent strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities, sites Tehran insists are entirely peaceful and under IAEA supervision, the Mehr News Agency reported.
According to the letter, Grossi’s public remarks prior to and following the 'Israeli' attacks “constitute a clear and serious breach of the standard of impartiality required of his Office.” The ambassador argues that Grossi not only failed to condemn the strikes but also refrained from identifying 'Israel' as the responsible party despite its public acknowledgment of the attacks.
The Iranian envoy criticized Grossi’s June 9 press conference in particular, during which he referred to 'Israel’s' "concerns that need to be addressed" while, Iran says, ignoring binding international resolutions that prohibit any threat or use of force against nuclear facilities designated for peaceful purposes. Iravani cited IAEA General Conference Resolutions GC(34)/RES/533 and GC(44)/RES/444, both of which explicitly forbid such actions.
Iravani further stated that Grossi’s silence in response to these violations amounts to "de facto complicity, by omission," in what Tehran calls acts of aggression “unprecedented in the history of the Agency.”
The letter also highlighted a pattern of what Iran claims is selective enforcement. Iravani pointed out Grossi’s swift public condemnation in 2023 when Iran legally withdrew accreditation from certain nuclear inspectors, a right it holds under its safeguards agreement. According to the letter, this contrasts with Grossi’s lack of response to more serious threats, such as what Iran and OIC members characterized as an “unprecedented” nuclear threat from 'Israeli' officials against Palestinian civilians last year.
“The Director General has consistently adopted a politicized, selective, and discriminatory posture towards the Islamic Republic of Iran,” the letter reads, asserting that his actions undermine the legitimacy of the IAEA and violate the principle of impartiality enshrined in Article III of the agency’s Statute.
'Israeli' strike kills four IRGC members at training site in northwest Iran
A deadly 'Israeli' airstrike has claimed the lives of four members of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), targeting a training facility in the northwestern city of Tabriz, Iranian state-affiliated media reported Saturday.
According to the ISNA news agency, the strike hit a Revolutionary Guard training camp, leaving "four people martyred and three others wounded in an Israeli attack." The injured are reportedly receiving treatment, but no further details about their condition were released.
This is the latest in a string of 'Israeli' operations deep inside Iranian territory, as tensions between the two adversaries continue to escalate following 'Israel’s' initial wave of airstrikes over a week ago.

'Israel' carries out second strike on Iran’s Isfahan nuclear site
'Israel' has launched a second round of strikes targeting Iran’s nuclear facility in Isfahan, intensifying its offensive as tensions between the two regional rivals continue to escalate.
A senior 'Israeli' military official, speaking anonymously during a briefing on Saturday, confirmed the overnight operation. “Isfahan we targeted in the first 24 hours of our operation, but we carried out a second wave of strikes there overnight, deepening our achievements and advancing the damage to the facility,” the official said.
The 'Israeli' military claims the latest strike has significantly impacted Iran’s nuclear program. “We dealt a severe blow to Iran's centrifuge production capabilities,” the official added, highlighting the strategic nature of the attack.
The Isfahan site is considered one of the pillars of Iran’s uranium enrichment infrastructure and plays a central role in its nuclear ambitions. The renewed targeting suggests 'Israel' is seeking to systematically degrade key components of Iran’s nuclear capabilities through sustained precision attacks.

Trump says two weeks is “maximum” for Iran decision
President Donald Trump says Iran has a "maximum" of two weeks to avoid possible US air strikes, day after saying that he would make a decision within a fortnight on whether to take military action.
Trump says Europeans unlikely to be helpful on ending Iran-“Israel” war
US President Donald Trump says European powers won't be able to help end the Iran-“Israel” war, after British, German, French and EU top diplomats met an Iranian official in Geneva.
“Israel” has delayed Iran nuclear bomb by at least two or three years: minister
“Israel” estimates its strikes on Iran have delayed Tehran's potential to develop a nuclear weapon by "at least two or three years", foreign minister Gideon Sa'ar said in an interview published Saturday.
“Israel's” offensive has produced "very significant" results, Saar told German newspaper Bild, saying: "We already delayed for at least two or three years the possibility for them to have a nuclear bomb."
US deploys world’s largest aircraft carrier near Middle East
A US Navy official announced that the USS Gerald R. Ford aircraft carrier will set sail next week for European waters, becoming the third American carrier positioned near the Middle East as tensions soar following the outbreak of hostilities between Iran and Washington’s close ally, “Israel”.
The deployment comes as the US military intensifies exercises in the region, coinciding with the first week of open conflict between Tehran and Tel Aviv.
On Thursday, President Donald Trump said he would take two weeks to decide whether to launch a direct military intervention against Iran.
According to the Navy official, the Gerald R. Ford will depart from its home port in Norfolk, Virginia, on the morning of June 24 as part of a scheduled deployment heading toward Europe.
Commissioned in 2017, the Ford is the lead vessel of the US Navy’s newest class of nuclear-powered aircraft carriers.
Weighing 100,000 tons, the ship represents the most advanced carrier in the US fleet.
Currently, the USS Carl Vinson has been stationed in the Middle East for several months and has taken part in US airstrikes targeting Houthis in Yemen.
Meanwhile, the USS Nimitz, which had been docked in the South China Sea, has also begun moving west toward the region.
In recent days, large US military aircraft have flown to American bases across Europe, while dozens of aircraft have been relocated from the Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar, reportedly as a precautionary measure against possible Iranian strikes.
Before the war erupted, Washington and Tehran were engaged in indirect talks over Iran’s nuclear program.
However, Tehran has since suspended any diplomatic engagement, insisting it will not return to the table as long as “Israeli” attacks on Iranian targets continue.
Trump says will give Iran “two weeks maximum” before US strikes
President Donald Trump said Friday that Iran had a "maximum" of two weeks to avoid possible US air strikes, indicating he could take a decision before the fortnight deadline he set a day earlier.
Trump added that Iran "doesn't want to talk to Europe," dismissing the chance of success in talks between European powers and Iran in Geneva on resolving the conflict between “Israel” and Iran.
Trump also played down the possibility of asking “Israel” to halt its attacks, after Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said Tehran would not resume talks with the United States until “Israel” relented.
"I'm giving them a period of time, and I would say two weeks would be the maximum," Trump told reporters when asked if he could decide to strike Iran before that.
He added that the aim was to "see whether or not people come to their senses."
Trump had said in a statement on Thursday that he would "make my decision whether or not to go within the next two weeks" because there was a "substantial chance of negotiations" with Iran.
Those comments had been widely seen as opening a two-week window for negotiations to end the war between “Israel” and Iran, with the European powers rushing to talks with Tehran.
But his latest remarks indicated that Trump could still make his decision before that if he feels that there has been no progress towards dismantling Iran's nuclear program.
Trump dismissed the chances of Europe making a difference, saying the talks between Britain, France, Germany and EU diplomats and Tehran's foreign minister "didn't help."
"Iran doesn't want to speak to Europe. They want to speak to us. Europe is not going to be able to help in this," Trump told reporters as he arrived in Morristown, New Jersey.
Asked if he would ask “Israel” to stop its attacks as Iran had asked, Trump said it was "very hard to make that request right now."
"If somebody's winning, it's a little bit harder to do than if somebody's losing, but we're ready, willing and able, and we've been speaking to Iran, and we'll see what happens."
European powers urge Iran to pursue diplomacy amid 'Israeli' bombardment
European powers on Friday urged Iran to continue diplomatic efforts to resolve the standoff over its nuclear programme, as 'Israel' maintains its military strikes on the Islamic Republic.
“The good result today is that we leave the room with the impression that Iran is ready to discuss these questions further,” said German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul, speaking alongside his British, French, and EU counterparts after talks with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi.
British Foreign Secretary David Lammy emphasized the importance of continued dialogue: “We are keen to continue ongoing discussions and negotiations with Iran, and we urge Iran to continue their talks with the United States.”
French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot added, “There can be no definitive solution through military means to the Iran nuclear problem.”
For his part, Iran's Foreign Minister Araghchi expressed readiness to support the “continuation” of nuclear talks with European nations, but signaled that diplomatic progress would depend on a halt in aggression, saying Iran is prepared to "consider" diplomacy “once the aggression is stopped.”
"Iran attempted to assassinate Trump, Netanyahu," official claims
During a UN Security Council session, Israel’s representative accused Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei of repeatedly calling for 'Israel’s' destruction.
The envoy also claimed that Iran’s government had attempted to assassinate 'Israeli' Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and US President Donald Trump, and was responsible for killing many 'Israelis' abroad.
He further accused Tehran of funding terrorism worldwide and urged the Security Council to put an end to what he described as the "Iranian farce."

Iran’s representative at the UN Security Council said that 'Israeli' forces targeted medical facilities in recent strikes on Iran, calling it a blatant violation of international law.
Speaking during an emergency session, the envoy claimed that hundreds of civilians were killed and thousands wounded in the attacks, which reportedly hit at least five hospitals. Among the casualties were doctors and humanitarian workers, according to the statement.
He added that the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) must not stay silent while internationally protected facilities in Iran come under attack. The envoy called for international accountability and warned of the dangers of targeting sensitive infrastructure.

VIDEO: Netanyahu: Iran is a terrorist regime that must not obtain nuclear weapons
'Israeli' Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu delivered a series of remarks on Friday, accusing Iran of being a “terrorist regime” and vowing to destroy its nuclear program.
Speaking from the Weizmann Institute — recently struck by an Iranian missile — Netanyahu praised US President Donald Trump, calling him “a great leader” and thanking him for continued support.
“Our goal is to destroy Iran’s nuclear program, and we have the necessary capabilities to do so,” Netanyahu stated. He emphasized that 'Israel' is targeting only nuclear and military facilities in Iran, in contrast to what he described as Tehran’s deliberate targeting of civilians.
He also claimed that Iran possesses approximately 28,000 missiles and is actively working to develop nuclear bombs.
Netanyahu’s comments come amid an escalating military and diplomatic standoff between 'Israel' and Iran, as international efforts to de-escalate continue.
US ambassador accuses Iran of inciting Hezbollah, threatening 'Israel'
The US ambassador to the United Nations Security Council, Dorothy Shea, issued a series of urgent statements on Friday condemning Iran’s recent actions in the escalating conflict with 'Israel'.
She accused the Iranian government of encouraging Hezbollah to open a front from Lebanon and repeatedly calling for the destruction of 'Israel'. Shea also condemned Iran for launching both direct and proxy attacks against 'Israeli' civilians, emphasizing that these acts violate international norms.
Addressing nuclear tensions, she warned that Iran would gain nothing from escalating its disputes with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and urged Tehran to abandon its ambitions to acquire nuclear weapons.
Shea delivered her remarks during a UN Security Council meeting on threats to international peace and security, held at United Nations headquarters in Washington, DC, on June 20, 2025. The Council convened an emergency session to address the rapidly escalating conflict between Israel and Iran. The meeting was requested by Iran and supported by Algeria, China, Pakistan, and Russia.
United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres also addressed the Council, calling for an immediate ceasefire and de-escalation. “There are times when the choices before us are not just important but decisive. We are at such a moment — a moment that will determine not only the fate of nations but perhaps our shared future,” he said.
Guterres warned that the violence between Iran and 'Israel' was pushing the region to the brink, stating, “We are not being pushed into a crisis; we are rushing toward one. These are not isolated incidents — we are heading down a path of potential chaos.”
“The widening scope of this conflict could ignite a powder keg no one can control. We cannot allow that to happen,” he said, renewing his call to end the fighting and resume serious negotiations. “Let us not look back on this critical moment with regret. Let us act responsibly together to save the region and the world from the brink.”
Meanwhile, European diplomats are expected to present Iran with a “comprehensive negotiation proposal” in Switzerland, primarily addressing nuclear concerns. US President Donald Trump has said he will decide within two weeks on a potential US military intervention in support of Israel.

Iran Foreign Minister rejects any negotiation with US
Iran’s Foreign Minister delivered a strongly worded statement on Friday, rejecting any negotiations with the US and accusing it of direct complicity in what he described as an 'Israeli' assault on Iran.
“We will not hold talks with the US because it is a partner in the Israeli crime committed against us,” the minister said.
According to the Iranian official, Washington had attempted to initiate backchannel negotiations through mediators. “The United States requested negotiations through mediators, but we refused and have had no contact with the Americans,” he stated.
Amid heightened regional tensions following recent military escalations, the foreign minister emphasized that Iran’s armed forces would continue resisting pressure. “The fierce resistance of our armed forces is gradually proving that surrender is not an option for us,” he declared.
In a direct comparison with 'Israeli' military conduct, the minister defended Iran’s approach, saying, “Iran never targets civilian areas, especially hospitals, unlike Israel, which deliberately struck hospitals in Gaza.”
While ruling out any discussions with Washington, the minister noted that Iran is continuing talks with European nations, but with a limited scope. “Our negotiations with European countries in Geneva are limited to the nuclear file and regional issues,” he confirmed.

US intelligence believes Iran still undecided on building nuclear bomb: report
US intelligence agencies continue to assess that Iran has not yet decided to build a nuclear weapon, despite possessing enough enriched uranium to do so – according to senior officials cited by the New York Times.
This assessment remains unchanged since March, even as “Israel” steps up attacks on Iranian nuclear sites.
Senior officials caution that Iran may pivot toward bomb production if provoked by military action against key sites like Fordo or in the event of the assassination of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
The debate over Iran’s nuclear intentions has reignited amid pressure from hawkish voices in the US and “Israel”.
CIA Director John Ratcliffe reportedly told the White House that Iran is nearing the technical threshold for a weapon. White House spokesperson Karoline Leavitt echoed this, saying Iran needs only a political decision to begin building a bomb, which could take as little as two weeks.
Some US officials cite “Israeli” intelligence, particularly Mossad’s estimate that Iran is just 15 days away from producing a bomb.
However, others within the American intelligence community challenge that timeline, maintaining that Iran would likely need several months to a year to complete a functional weapon
Officials also note that no new intelligence has been collected, only new interpretations of existing data – said the NYT report.
Iran’s current uranium stockpile, enriched to 60%, must reach 90% purity to become weapons-grade.
Beyond that, Iran would need to assemble and potentially miniaturize a bomb for missile deployment.
While Iran has the technical capacity to build such a device, US officials say there's no clear evidence it has begun doing so.
Some experts believe Iran could opt for a simpler, less advanced bomb akin to the Hiroshima-era design, which would not require missile capability.
Despite these assessments, concerns persist. General Michael E. Kurilla told Congress that Iran could produce enough weapons-grade uranium for one bomb in a week, and enough for 10 bombs within three weeks.
Intelligence Director Tulsi Gabbard has warned that Iran’s uranium stockpile is at an unprecedented level for a non-nuclear state.

British FM, in US, says “window now exists” for diplomacy with Iran
Britain's Foreign Secretary David Lammy said Thursday after talks at the White House with Secretary of State Marco Rubio that there is still time to reach a diplomatic solution with Iran over its nuclear program, to avert a wider conflict.
"The situation in the Middle East remains perilous. We are determined that Iran must never have a nuclear weapon," Lammy said in a statement released by the UK embassy in Washington.
"We discussed how Iran must make a deal to avoid a deepening conflict. A window now exists within the next two weeks to achieve a diplomatic solution," Lammy said of his talks with Rubio and US special envoy Steve Witkoff.

US military aircraft no longer visible at Al Udeid base in Qatar: satellite images
US military aircraft have been pulled from the tarmac of the biggest US base in the Middle East – Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar – according to satellite images published by Planet Labs PBC.
This includes transport planes such as the Hercules C-130 and reconnaissance aircraft, in what possibly seems to be a move to shield them from possible Iranian strikes in the case the US strikes the Islamic Republic.
The images showed several aircraft parked on the tarmac on June 5; which can no longer be seen as of June 19.
Al Udeid base in Qatar would be vulnerable to Iranian strikes in the case of escalation, given its close proximity to Iran.
The planes were either moved to inside the hangars or to other bases in the Middle East.
“Very bad decision”: US envoy warns Hezbollah of involvement in Iran-“Israel” war
The US special envoy for Syria Tom Barrack warned Lebanese group Hezbollah on Thursday against getting involved in the war between its main backer Iran and “Israel”.
Barrack, who is also the US ambassador to Turkey, is on his first visit to Beirut, where he met top Lebanese officials including parliament speaker Nabih Berri, an ally of Hezbollah.
"I can say on behalf of President (Donald) Trump... that would be a very, very, very bad decision," Barrack said after his meeting with Berri, responding to a question on what the US position would be on any involvement by Hezbollah in the war.
In a statement, Hezbollah leader Naim Qassem said the group will "act as we see fit".
"Tyrannical America and criminal Israel will not be able to subjugate the Iranian people and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps," Qassem said.
Hezbollah, he added, still had "the responsibility to stand by Iran and provide it with all forms of support that contribute to putting an end to this tyranny and oppression".
Hezbollah suffered devastating losses in its war against “Israel” last year, which ended with a ceasefire agreement in November.
WHO chief says “attacks on health” in Iran-“Israel” conflict appalling
The WHO's leader on Thursday denounced attacks on health facilities in the Iran-“Israel” war as "appalling", urging all sides to protect hospital buildings, staff and patients.

Iran able to produce nuclear bomb in “a couple of weeks”: White House
Iran could produce a nuclear weapon in the space of a "couple of weeks," the White House said Thursday, as US President Donald Trump debated whether to take military action against the Islamic republic.
"Iran has all that it needs to achieve a nuclear weapon. All they need is a decision from the supreme leader to do that, and it would take a couple of weeks to complete the production of that weapon," White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt told reporters.
Hezbollah chief says group will “act as we see fit” in Iran-“Israel” war
Hezbollah leader Naim Qassem said on Thursday that the group would "act as we see fit" in response to the ongoing war between its main backer Iran and “Israel”.
In a statement, Qassem said Hezbollah was "not neutral" in the conflict between the two regional superpowers, saying that the group would "act as we see fit in the face of this brutal Israeli-American aggression".
This comes after the US special envoy for Syria warned Hezbollah against getting involved in the war.
