Jordan says has not, will not allow any airspace violations as regional tensions flare

Jordan condemned the 'Israeli' attack on Iran and said that such an act threatens regional security.

Jordan also announced that it has not and will not permit any violation of its airspace and will not serve as a battleground for any conflict, its government spokesman said Friday morning after “Israeli” airstrikes pounded Iran which could likely prompt a response from Tehran using missiles and drones.

Jordan’s security is a red line, Minister of Government Communications Mohammad Al-Momani said, adding that no threat to Jordan’s safety or that of its citizens will be tolerated.

He also warned against circulating misleading videos or false information, calling on the Jordanian public to rely solely on official sources for updates.
