Jordanian field hospital nurse injured in southern Gaza, says Arab Army

A military source in the General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces (JAF)– the Arab Army said that a nurse working at the Jordanian field hospital in southern Gaza was injured Wednesday morning while inside the facility.

According to the source, the nurse sustained injuries to his left hand and right thigh from shrapnel that landed near the hospital.

Medical staff examined the nurse and confirmed he had suffered lacerations to his hand and thigh. He was taken to the operating room for necessary surgery.

The source added that the nurse is in moderate condition and will be evacuated later today to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to continue treatment.
