King Abdullah II meets Macron at UN Ocean Conference in France

His Majesty King Abdullah II met with French President Emmanuel Macron and stressed Jordan’s keenness to strengthen its relations with France across various sectors, in a way that contributes to enhancing stability in the Middle East.

The meeting came as King Abdullah arrived in Nice, France, to attend the third United Nations Ocean Conference.

The conference, taking place from June 9 to 13, 2025, focuses on “scaling up action and mobilizing all actors to protect and sustainably use the ocean.”

King Abdullah participated in the opening of the event on Monday, underscoring Jordan’s engagement in global efforts to safeguard marine ecosystems and promote sustainable development.
