Brazil’s President Lula accuses 'Israel' of “premeditated genocide” in Gaza

During a visit to Paris on Thursday, Brazil’s President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva sharply condemned 'Israel’s' actions in Gaza, accusing the country of committing a “premeditated genocide.”

Speaking at a joint press conference with French President Emmanuel Macron, Lula criticized the 'Israeli' government, describing it as a “far-right government that is waging a war against the interests of its own people.”

While Lula has previously used the term "genocide", Macron has refused to, saying last month it was not for a "political leader to use to term but up to historians to do so when the time comes".
