Gaza hospitals near collapse after "Israeli" forces destroy key generators

The spokesperson for Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital has issued a dire warning about the collapsing healthcare system in the Gaza Strip, accusing Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) of systematically targeting medical infrastructure and pushing hospitals to the brink of total shutdown.

According to the hospital spokesperson, three of Gaza's largest power generators — critical for running hospitals amid widespread electricity outages — have been destroyed by IOF strikes. The destruction of these generators, he said, constitutes a “death sentence” for thousands of patients relying on life-saving treatments.

With electricity already scarce across the besieged enclave, hospitals have been rationing power to keep emergency and intensive care units running. However, the spokesperson warned that all departments are now at risk of complete shutdown unless fuel or replacement parts are allowed in immediately.

Medical staff are working under extreme pressure, often without basic supplies or lighting, and have been forced to prioritize only the most critical services.

The hospital is calling on the international community to urgently intervene and pressure "Israel" to allow humanitarian aid and equipment into Gaza.

The Gaza health sector has already been pushed to its limits after months of siege and bombardment, with medical workers warning of a growing crisis as they run out of fuel, medicine, and equipment — while the number of injured and chronically ill patients continues to rise.
