Hamas reports new attacks on “Israeli” forces in Gaza
Hamas reported new operations carried out by its military wing Al-Qassam Brigades in the Gaza Strip today, Wednesday.
In a statement on their official Telegram channel, the brigades said they targeted an “Israeli” armored personnel carrier with a P-29 rocket, after which they spotted “Israeli” helicopters landing for evacuation east of Khan Younis in southern Gaza on May 26.
Yesterday, they announced targeting an "Israeli" infantry unit of 10 soldiers with an “anti-personnel projectile” that resulted in multiple casualties in Beit Lahia, northern Gaza, on May 25.
“Israel” stepped up its aggression on Gaza earlier this month, while mediators push for a ceasefire that remains elusive.
The health ministry in Gaza said on Wednesday that at least 3,924 people had been killed in the territory since “Israel” ended a ceasefire on March 18, taking the war's overall toll to 54,084, mostly civilians.
