Major outage hits X as users report errors

Social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, experienced a widespread outage on Saturday, leaving millions of users unable to post, view timelines, or access the app and website.

According to outage tracker Downdetector, complaints peaked at 3:10 PM (GMT+3), with tens of thousands of users reporting problems.

The cause of the outage has not yet been confirmed by the company. X’s press account and support channels have not issued an official statement as of this writing.

The platform's desktop and mobile versions were both affected. Some users were met with a “Something went wrong. Try reloading.” screen.
