Iran comments on Houthi-US ceasefire deal

Iran on Wednesday welcomed a deal that ended weeks of intense strikes by the United States on Tehran-backed Houthis in Yemen.

Foreign ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baqaei "welcomed the cessation of US aggression against the country," in a statement, praising Yemenis for their "legendary resistance".
