Trump posts AI image of himself as Pope

US President Donald Trump posted Saturday an image of himself as the Pope.

The AI-generated image was posted by Trump on his Truth Social account, and was reposted by the Official White House account on X.

The image comes after Trump was asked by a reporter last week on who he’d like to see as Pope.

Trump –jokingly– responded: “I’d like to be Pope, that would be my number one choice.”

Trump noted he actually had no preference, adding, “I must say, we have a cardinal that happens to be out of a place called New York who’s very good, so we’ll see what happens,” he said, referring to Cardinal Joseph Tobin, archbishop of Newark, New Jersey.
