'Israeli' airstrike kills one near Sidon in southern Lebanon

An 'Israeli' airstrike on Friday targeted a car near the city of Sidon in southern Lebanon, killing one person, according to the Lebanese Ministry of Health.

The strike hit the Ghaziyeh area, just outside Sidon. Lebanon’s state-run National News Agency (NNA) reported: “A statement from the Public Health Emergency Operations Center confirmed that the Israeli enemy's strike on a vehicle on the Sidon-Ghaziyeh road resulted in one martyr.”

This is the fourth consecutive day of deadly Israeli strikes in southern Lebanon.

Earlier, NNA also reported that an Israeli drone targeted prefabricated rooms in the southern town of Meiss El Jabal—structures that had already been struck the previous night.
