Jordan navy thwarts infiltration attempt through territorial waters

The Royal Jordanian Navy and Royal Boats Command on Friday foiled an attempt to infiltrate territorial waters – a statement by the Jordanian Armed Forces (JAF) said Friday.

The naval operations center detected an individual attempting to swim into Jordanian waters. Rapid response boats were immediately dispatched to the scene, where the suspect was apprehended and referred to the relevant authorities, the statement added.
