Most countries will observe the crescent moon of Shawwal (Eid al-Fitr 1446 AH) on Saturday, March 29, 2025, to determine the official date of Eid al-Fitr.
Meanwhile, other countries, including Pakistan, Japan, the Philippines, Malaysia, and Brunei, will observe the moon on Sunday, March 30, 2025.

Jordan announced that Eid Al-Fitr will be observed on Monday, March 31, 2025, as Sunday marks the final day of Ramadan.
The Grand Mufti, Dr. Ahmed Al-Hasanat, had called for the crescent sighting on Saturday, but no confirmed sighting was reported.
