Trump hails “extremely productive” call with Canada PM Carney

US President Donald Trump on Friday hailed an "extremely productive" call with Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney despite recent tensions, saying they planned to meet after next month's Canadian elections.

"I just finished speaking with Prime Minister Mark Carney, of Canada. It was an extremely productive call, we agree on many things," Trump said on his Truth Social network.
