Houthis target US carrier, strike Tel Aviv as US bombs Yemen
The military spokesperson for Ansar Allah (Houthis) announced on Wednesday that the group had targeted the US aircraft carrier Harry Truman in response to what it described as "American aggression." The spokesperson affirmed that military operations would continue until attacks on Gaza cease.
In addition to the attack on the US aircraft carrier, the Houthis claimed responsibility for drone strikes on military targets in the occupied city of Tel Aviv. However, no further details were provided regarding the nature of the targets or the extent of the damage.
Meanwhile, Houthi-affiliated media outlets reported that the US conducted a series of intense airstrikes on Sa'dah province in northern Yemen early Wednesday. According to these reports, three airstrikes targeted the Al Salem district, while two others hit eastern parts of the city.
Additionally, two airstrikes were reported in the Safyan district of Amran province. Further US strikes targeted areas surrounding the city of Sa'dah, with a total of five additional airstrikes recorded. The overall number of airstrikes on the province throughout the night reached 17, according to local sources.
