Iran issues statement on “Israeli” attack on Lebanon

Iran condemned on Sunday the latest wave of “Israeli” strikes on Lebanon that came in response to a rocket attack from across the border.

In a statement, foreign ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei described the “Israeli” strikes as "extensive military aggression" and slammed the country as "a real threat to international peace and security."
