55 days of "Israeli" aggression in the West Bank: casualties, displacement
"Israeli" forces and settlers carried out a series of raids and attacks in various areas of the West Bank on Saturday night and Sunday, resulting in injuries, arrests, displacement, and house demolitions, as well as clashes with Palestinians.
Ongoing aggression in Tulkarem, refugee camp
"Israeli" forces have continued their aggression on Tulkarem city and its refugee camp in northern West Bank for the 49th day, intensifying military operations and widespread destruction of infrastructure and homes.
The aggression has led to the martyrdom of 13 Palestinians, while dozens have been injured or arrested. More than 12,000 Palestinians have been displaced from the Nur Shams refugee camp, and another 12,000 have fled from Tulkarem camp.
On Saturday night, "Israeli" forces raided the towns of "Anabta" and "Bal’a" east of Tulkarem, blocking movement and conducting searches at local cafes and businesses. Despite no reported arrests, many Palestinians were harassed, their phones searched, and several young men were mistreated.
"Israeli" forces also continued their crackdown, arresting a Palestinian from Tulkarem’s commercial district and burning homes in the Nur Shams camp.
Aggression in Jenin, refugee camp
The Israeli Occupation has entered its 55th day of aggression on Jenin city and its refugee camp in northern West Bank. This sustained attack has resulted in the martyrdom of 36 Palestinians, the injury of dozens, and the displacement of thousands.
The scale of destruction has been immense, with homes being demolished and set on fire. To date, nearly 20,000 Palestinians have been displaced, accounting for about 90 percent of Jenin refugee camp’s population.
"Israeli" tanks have intensified attacks on Jenin, particularly targeting the "Return Roundabout" in the northern part of the city. The violence continues, with "Israeli" forces using illumination bombs in the area overnight.
"Israeli" troops also carried out house demolitions and land levelling operations near Jenin’s government hospital, closing off major roads with earth barricades.
Wider attacks across the West Bank
In other parts of the West Bank, including the villages of "Al-Walaja" near Bethlehem and the town of "Sair" east of Hebron, "Israeli" forces carried out raids and searches, arresting several Palestinians and damaging properties. The military also targeted Palestinian farms in Bethlehem, detaining two men, and conducted raids in Qalqilya and Nablus, arresting multiple Palestinians.
In a separate incident, "Israeli" forces opened fire on a Palestinian youth during clashes in "Anata" near Jerusalem, leading to his injury.
