Jordanians rally nationwide in support of King Abdullah II

Her Majesty Queen Rania shared a photo of His Majesty King Abdullah II on her official Instagram’s Stories, accompanied by an Arabic caption expressing devotion and loyalty to His Majesty.

The post came as the King came home to a massive reception by citizens after his return from the United States. The photo received widespread engagement from followers, who expressed their pride and loyalty to the King, reaffirming their support for the Hashemite leadership and its efforts in serving the nation.

His Majesty King Abdullah II thanked Jordanians Thursday, after receiving a warm and massive nationwide welcome upon returning from his trip to the United States, along with Crown Prince Hussein.

"I thank you, my loyal sons and daughters. I draw my strength and energy from you. Our positions remain steadfast and unwavering,” His Majesty said on his X account.

“..and I will always do my best for my country. The interest of Jordan is above all else,” His Majesty added.

Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II took to Instagram to express his gratitude and pride as he arrived in Amman alongside His Majesty King Abdullah II.

In his story, the Crown Prince shared a heartfelt message, thanking the people of Jordan for their unwavering support.

"Thank you to the best supporters and the strongest people," he wrote. "I am deeply proud of a nation whose resolve remains unshakable."

The Crown Prince's post comes just after his arrival along with the King after the official visit to the United States, highlighting the continued solidarity and strength of Jordanian unity in the face of challenges.

King Abdullah II’s convoy made its way through the streets of Amman, with citizens gathering along the roads to warmly welcome His Majesty, expressing their support and unity with the Hashemite leadership.

Jordanians waved national flags and chanted welcoming slogans, proudly affirming their admiration for His Majesty's steadfast stance in defending national and Arab causes, with the Palestinian issue at the forefront.

The Public Security Directorate thanks citizens for their commitment and cooperation in welcoming His Majesty the King.

It officially acknowledges Jordanians’ adherence to safety measures during the reception, with tens of thousands lining up in Amman.

The Directorate appreciates the public’s cooperation with security forces, ensuring a safe and smooth event to honor His Majesty King Abdullah II, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces- Arab Army. 

King Abdullah II is expected to arrive at Marka Airport in Amman at 1:00 PM on Thursday, following his official visit to the United States, where he discussed the latest regional and international developments, particularly the Palestinian issue.
